The QuikRead CRP is a simple test for quantitative determination of C-reactive protein (CRP) in whole blood, serum or plasma using the QuikRead Instrument.

Combined with careful clinical assessment, QuikRead CRP can help the healthcare practitioner in differentiating between a bacterial and viral infection.

The QuikRead CRP is comparable with clinical chemical analysers in terms of accuracy and speed however, as the QuikRead CRP is a point of care test, results are available within approximately 3 minutes. Lab testing requires the samples to be sent away for analysis. Patients would then require a second appointment to receive their results.
